TS WOODEN CREATIONS - Young and Local  

Thomas Sopher is an 19 year old Calgary AB based entrepreneur with a passion for woodworking. He got interested in working with his hands in Middle School when his Shop Teacher introduced him to making custom boards to raise money for school ‘Shop Supplies’. 

Creating new designs and working with the tools in the Shop comes easily to Thomas so any of the money earned from his craft goes right back into better equipment, dust collection systems and precision tools. 

Unfortunately, the wood itself and the tools of the trade are very pricey, but the end result of working with the proper implements and honing his craft showcases the natural stunning beauty of the materials. 

Always safety and enviro conscious, this young creator uses food safe finishes for all  ‘kitchen or food related’ products as well as eco friendly, food grade epoxy and quality local and exotic hardwoods sourced from other small local businesses.
